Spring is a season of new beginnings, bursting with color and life. Bright flowers bloom, trees sprout fresh green leaves, and the air is filled with the sweet scent of blossoms and rain-soaked earth. Birds sing joyfully, and bees buzz from flower to flower, reminding us that nature is waking up all around us.
One of my favorite ways to enjoy spring is by getting outside and exploring it with my grandchildren. We love taking nature walks while using our senses to spot new colors, listen for birds, and breathe in the fresh spring air.
If we’re lucky enough to experience a rainy day together…there is no end to the fun! We laugh as we splash in puddles, our boots sending water flying in all directions, and watch with fascination as sticks and leaves float down the rushing gutters like tiny boats on an exciting adventure.
Planting flowers is another wonderful way for them to witness life blossoming before their eyes. As we dig into the soil, our hands covered in earth, we talk about the importance of watering, pruning, and caring for plants—turning each moment into a hands-on lesson about patience and growth.
No matter how you choose to welcome spring, take a moment to slow down, soak in the beauty around you, and cherish the simple joys of nature coming back to life.
Warm Regards,
~Wendy
